A brand new building will allow a Kilkenny city school to double its numbers in future.
St Kierans College gifted land they own to the Department of Education for development.
Building work will start from 2018 and its hoped the school will be able to cater for 400 students once its up and running.
Seán Ó hArgáin is on the school board of management – he told KCLR news the new building will also have room for facilities the current building is lacking.
