Safety for children, parents and teachers at a local school has been vastly improved by the building of a new car park.
The 40-bay car park in Inistioge will be officially opened by Junior Minister John Paul Phelan and Kilkenny Mayor Michael Doyle.
Councillor Doyle says it was built because of concerns over road safety outside the primary school.
