A new Irish record has been set after a horse sold in a Goresbridge auction fetched in excess of a million euro this week.
10 year old gelding Dougie Douglas – winner of the Nations Cup was sold at the Goresbridge Supreme Sale of Showjumpers in Wexford on Wednesday night.
1.4 million was the price paid in the finish – a new record auction price high for Ireland.
