New online support group launches for younger survivors of stroke

Support is essential after you’ve suffered a stroke.
That’s the message from a Kilkenny stroke survivor who’s involved with a new online support network which has been set up by the Irish Heart Foundation for survivors under 65 years of age.
Ronan Callanan had a stroke a number of years ago when he was just 30, as a result of treatment he was undergoing for cancer.
Speaking to KCLR News, Ronan says having an online support forum is a fantastic development.
The online Facebook group is called ‘Life After Stroke’.
