Parking, public transport and possibly an Elvis Presley museum – all suggestions for Hacketstown at today’s Carlow Older People’s Council roadshow

More parking and public transport as well as the possibility of a museum paying tribute to Elvis Presley.

All of that and more has been mooted for Hacketstown as it hosts the Carlow Older People’s Council inaugural rural roadshow of 2026.

Aim of the gatherings is to arm people to keep them safe, informed and connected to their community.
