Push on to see more women run in Carlow for Local Elections

Carlow continues to be one of the local authorities with the least number of female representatives.

Two currently hold seats and the push is on to get more to run for the Local Elections.

In a Dáil speech ahead of International Women’s Day, Deputy Jennifer Murnane O’Connor said the hope is to build on the last ballot box outing five years ago;
