Road closed in Kilkenny City this afternoon after traffic incident

There’s been a collision in Kilkenny this afternoon with a road now completely closed.

It happened at around 12 o’clock on the Johnswell Road in the vicinity of Lidl.

Emergency services are at the scene but the extent of any injuries isn’t yet known.

Gardaí say the road will be closed for the next while.
