Roads safety campaign underway on south Kilkenny / Waterford border

About 40 Gardaí are out in force along the south Kilkenny / Waterford border carrying out a roads safety campaign. 

They’re bidding to prevent drink and drug driving.

While they’re also attempting to curb the numbers of learners who are driving unaccompanied, while the usual tyre, seatbelt and insurance checks too.

At least one person’s already been arrested – stay tuned for more.
