A search is underway at land in County Wicklow by those investigating the murder of Kilkenny woman Jo Jo Dullard.
She’s not been seen since 9th November 1995.
Jo Jo had been travelling home from Dublin to start a new job in Callan – she missed her bus and got one part of the way, her last known location was in Moone, County Kildare where she spoke to friend Mary Cullinan from a phone box just before midnight.
It’s understood s a lift from a passing motorist and has not been seen or heard from since.
The case was upgraded to one of murder in 2020.
This morning a man aged in his fifties was arrested and two private residencies were searched.
The focus now is on ‘open land’ close to the Wicklow / Kildare border which will be subject to excavation.
