Service of remembrance takes place in Kilkenny for those involved in WW1

A service of remembrance for those locals who were part of World War 1 takes place today.

3,129 men and women for Kilkenny will be honored at the event.

It takes place at Kilkenny Castle at 5 o clock this evening
