Sinn Fein is calling for all five concerts to go ahead at Croke Park.
The party is to put forward an emergency motion at Monday’s Dublin City Council meeting, asking the city manager Owen Keegan to intervene.
It comes after the promoter of the concerts, Peter Aiken, said he will make a decision on whether the concerts will go ahead by Tuesday.
Meanwhile the Chief executive of the Irish Tourist Industry Confederation Eamonn McKeon has called on Dublin City Council to allow the five concerts to go ahead. But he says the local residents should be compensated.
Dublin City Council has allowed three of the five gigs to take place on July 25th, 26th and 27th – but Garth Brooks says it’s five or none at all.
