The 32 contestants for the 2026 International Rose Of Tralee arrived in Kilkenny yesterday as part of the festival tour.
The roses visited Valley Of The Roses and McSorley’s before enjoying some refreshments in the Ormonde Hotel.
Kilkenny native and current Rose Of Tralee Katelyn Cummins was on hand to guide the roses through the city along with festival CEO Anthony O’Gara.
With the Irish diaspora spread across the world many of the International roses have ties locally or to the South East region.
Our Martin Quilty was with the roses and managed to grab a few words with a couple. Here’s how he got on.
