The first government charter flight to return people caught up in the Middle East is expected later today.
Last night a second commercial service touched down at Dublin airport bringing hundreds of people home.

Minister for the Diaspora Neale Richmond says “We’ve advised them very clearly to register with the Embassy, to stay in contact with their airlines, the airlines are working through the backlog of passengers and the Embassy are offering places on our evacuation flight but that is the most vulnerable people are prioritised the likes of pregnant women, people with additional needs, people who have illnesses, people with young children”
