The South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association members were called out twice yesterday to assist.
Their first call was just after 1:30pm to help a mountain biker who had become unwell on the Ballyhoura Mountains.
Within the hour, they were called to the Galtees where a person had fallen and sustained an ankle injury.
National Ambulance Service paramedics were called in to help with the first casualty while the SEMRA team doctor was on hand to assess the second to whom a vacuum splint was applied before getting them off the mountain.
All were off site by 5:30pm.
