Carlow should be really, really proud for the way they reach out to people in need.
That’s what those invited to a special reception at St Clare’s Hospitality Kitchen were told last night by Fr John Dunphy.
The Graiguecullen facility he founded served up 30,000 hot meals last year alone but concerns were raised when it looked like that offering was in jeopardy with a reliance on donations to fund it.
However, a host of businesses, organisations and services banded together for Out Run Hunger which proved hugely successful and last night certificates were presented to representatives of each in an event led by Master of Ceremonies, businessman David Walsh.
