Kilkenny defender Laura Murphy says the squad can’t wait to return to Croke Park as they prepare for this weekend’s Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship quarter-final against Waterford.
The Cats face the Déise on Saturday afternoon, with throw-in at 1pm, as they bid to book their place in the All-Ireland semi-finals.
Kilkenny head into the knockout clash in confident form after completing a perfect group-stage campaign, winning all five of their championship matches to secure a place in the last eight.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of the game, Murphy admitted the squad is relishing the opportunity to play once again at GAA headquarters.
“It is going to be a massive test for us on Saturday. We are really excited to be back in Croke Park.
“A quarter-final is where we set our target, everyone is really excited to be back here.”
Waterford will provide a stern challenge, but Kilkenny will be aiming to continue their impressive championship form and take another step towards All-Ireland glory.
Throw-in at Croke Park is at 1pm on Saturday, with full live commentary on KCLR, in association with Laharts, Waterford Road, Kilkenny.
