Sophie Becker’s been confirmed for the Olympics.
The Wexford athlete, whose mother Tina Cody’s is from Fatima Place in Kilkenny city, will be part of Team Ireland’s athletics panel in Paris and has also qualified for the 400m individual event.

She’s performed at this level before having competed in the relay in Tokyo.
