A Carlow secondary school will have to wait another week to find out if they’ll be getting a new sports hall after a 16 year wait.
A national grants announcement was due yesterday afternoon but has now been deferred till next Tuesday
It means a longer wait for the Presentation de la Salle in Bagenalstown who are hoping that funds they need for new specialist classrooms and sports facilities will be included.
The Education Minister Jan O’Sullivan visited the school last week but wouldnt say either way if the money is coming their way or not.
