Carlow’s Garda Superintendent says progress has been made in the investigation into the recent robbery of two betting shops.
The Tullow Road premises’ were separately hit on the 22nd of August and 1st of September.
Supt Anthony Farrell has told KCLR News; “A juvenile was arrested yesterday under the offences against the state act by Gardai and brought to Carlow Garda Station and in the presence of his Mother he was detained and interviewed”.
He adds; “He was later released pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions”.
