12% Increase in Drink or Drug Driving
Over One Thousand Motorists Banned from Driving Since January

The number of people taken off the roads because of drink or drug-driving increased by 12 percent last year.
The Courts Service says 3-thousand 845 motorists were disqualified due to these offences in 2018 – up more than 400 on 2017.
A further 1-thousand 400 motorists were banned in the first four months of this year.
