The 1916 celebrations continue in Carlow today with the commemoration of local martyr Michael O’Hanrahan.
He was one of the 14 rebel leaders executed at Kilmainham gaol.
The celebration is being organised by O’Hanrahan’s GAA club in Carlow who are named after the 1916 hero.
