2 men due in court this morning charged with an armed robbery in County Kilkenny

2 men are to appear before a special sitting of the district court this morning, charged with armed robbery, following an incident in County Kilkenny on Thursday night.

Moloney’s Pub in Skeogh in Owning was targeted by 2 masked men at around 11:30pm, where staff and customers were threatened.

3 men were arrested by Gardaí in Mooncoin, and a 4th man was arrested in a follow-up search in Piltown.

2 of those will appear before the court this morning, while the other 2 were released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
