5 local schools are taking part in Safer Internet Day which takes place on the 7th of February.
It’s an initiative for teachers to educate children and raise awareness about protecting children online.
In Kilkenny, St Brendan’s National School in Ballyfoyle and Hugginstown are taking part as is Loreto Secondary School on the Granges Road.
In Carlow the Presentation College in Askea is involved as is Rathoe National School.
