A 68 year old man has died following a three car collision on the New Ross road outside Thomastown.
The accident happened at around 10.30 this morning and the man, who was the lone occupant of the car, was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
The Thomastown to Inistioge road had been closed earlier today while the forensic examination took place.
