Gardai are investigating reports of missing calves from the Freshford area of Kilkenny.
A local farmer contacted Castlecomer Gardai at 8am this morning to report that 90 calves have gone missing from his Freshford farm.
Gardai in Castlecomer are appealing for any information about the missing calves and have asked other farmers or land owners in the area to check their land. Anyone who may have spotted the calves or information in relation to their whereabouts is asked to contact Castlecomer or Kilkenny Garda Station.
