Kilkenny Councillor Patrick McKee says rubbish being dumped at local swimming areas is unacceptable

Kilkenny Renua Councillor Patrick McKee says the rubbish being left behind at local swimming areas is unacceptable.

It comes after a lot of rubbish was left dumped at the Weir swimming area on the Bleach Road in Kilkenny city.

Patrick says this is an issue he’s raised with the council to deal with the problem in the city and county.

Speaking to KCLR, Councillor McKee says he’s been told a solution will be put in place, with areas being patrolled on a regular basis.
