Vicar street to reopen tomorrow

Vicar Street in Kilkenny is to reopen from lunchtime tomorrow to both traffic and pedestrians.

Works at the site have been delayed due to the recent cold temperatures and frost.

The street has been closed for the past fortnight for Central Access Scheme works which have caused traffic delays in the area.

Kilkenny County Council say that the cold temperatures has been delaying progress at the site as they could not lay tarmac and concrete during that period.
