You’re being urged to be on the look-out for green-fingered thieves in Kilkenny after allotments at Altamount Park were hit over the weekend.

Local man, John Grant says that sometime between 3 o’clock on Saturday afternoon and 10am yesterday morning, the community allotments were broken into and a large amount of garden tools were stolen.

Speaking to KCLR News this morning, John says that nothing like this has ever happened there before and he says he wasn’t the only victim on the site.
