A representative of the Kilkenny Traveller Community Movement says they feel vindicated by yesterdays High Court decision to allow their appeal be heard by the district court.
The state had challenged the right of the district court to hear the appeal but conceded in the High Court yesterday. They also agreed to cover all costs.

Last February, 29 horses were seized by approximately 40 gardai and members of the armed response unit as they did not comply with micro-chipping and passport requirements.
