John Paul Phelan says there’s always going to be a clash between local and National politics.
The Kilkenny Fine Gael TD was speaking to KCLR news about the year that has passed in the Irish political system.

He says politicians elected to Dail Eireann have a duty to look after their local area, but also have to work on a National level.
Speaking on KCLR Live earlier, Deputy Phelan says local Governments need to have more power.
