Six secondary schools from Kilkenny were successful at the BT Young Scientist exhibition in Dublin this week.
There were three winners from Loreto Secondary School, one from Colaiste Pobal Osraí, one from St Kieran’s College and one from Coláiste Mhuire.
The awards for Loretto include Elderly Mobility: move to improve, while Colaiste Mhurire won for their Energy monitor.
Meanwhile, An encryption system for storing secrets won top prize at the Exhibition.
