Buying a house in Carlow or Kilkenny will likely cost you above €200,000 and it’s rising

The average price of a home in Carlow and Kilkenny is now €200,000.

The Irish Independent’s property price survey shows a 7% rise in property prices in the two counties in 2016.

The figures suggest that prices are likely to continue to rise in Carlow in 2017.

Prices are continuing to rise across the five counties of the South East, according to the survey which looked at every home in the country.
