Open day at Kilkenny barracks for prospective army recruits

An open day is taking place in James Stephen’s Army barracks in Kilkenny today with the aim of recruiting prospective new candidates.

Today’s drive will provide information about joining the Defence Forces and will also feature a display of equipment being used on a day to day basis by the team, along with details of training.

If you’re aged between 18 and 24, and would like to join the Irish Defence Forces, you are being encouraged to call in today between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.
