Carlow company signs major deal with international equestrian body

A Carlow-based company has signed a major deal with an international equestrian governing body.

EquiRatings will now be working closely with the International Federation for Equestrian Sports having signed a four-year deal with them this week.

The local company provides data and analytics for equestrian sports.

Director of EquiRatings, Diarmuid Byrne told KCLR News it’s hard to put a monetary value on a deal like this but it is a giant step forward for them.

At the moment the company has a total of six employees.

But Diarmuid says a deal of this magnitude will now allow them to seriously consider expanding that workforce locally.
