“A beautiful girl inside and out” – that’s how a Kilkenny student who died at a concert last year has been described by those who knew her.
A memorial weekend has been set up in memory of Ciara Lawlor who died of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome while attending a Kodaline Concert.
Áine Russell, who runs Busy Bees Childcare where Ciara worked in her spare time says she was “loved by everyone who met her”.
The memorial weekend will raise funds for the Heart Appeal at the Mater Foundation and kicks off with a Golf Classic on the 26th of May.
Speaking to KCLR Live this morning, Áine says there’ll be another event the next day with some very special items up for raffle.
