TD Ruth Coppinger closes a campaign ‘gofundme’ page 13 months after being re-elected

TD Ruth Coppinger is in the process of refunding a small donation made to a ‘gofundme’ page she set up.

The page was set up to fund posters and merchandise – for the Solidarity TD – to help her get re-elected last year.

However, KCLR news discovered that the page was still active last Friday, and a small donation had been made.

After contacting Ruth Coppinger’s office, a statement to KCLR news says that “we have closed the account so no more donations can be made, and are attempting to refund the donation”
