A Kilkenny man who set out for Belarus on the 7th of April has today left the Vesnova Orphanage.
Jim Kavanagh, who’s involved with the Chernobyl Children’s project in Kilkenny, has made the 3,000km journey to Belarus by truck.
He’s supplying aid to children, affected by the Chernobyl disaster, who are in the Orphanages in Belarus.
Speaking on the Saturday Show earlier, Jim says they’ll visit more areas tomorrow, before making their journey home.
