You might have noticed Gardai out in bigger numbers on roads around Carlow and Kilkenny today.
Operation Slowdown will continue until 7 o clock tomorrow morning (Saturday) as Gardai attempt to make motorists more aware of their speed.

A person was caught travelling at 94 km an hour in a 60km zone near New Ross earlier today.
