Carlow post office set up drop-off point for anyone wishing to show support for assault victim

A local post office has set up a drop-off point for those who wish to show support for the victim of a vicious assault in the town recently.

Just under two weeks ago, the woman in her 50’s was found unconscious on the grounds of Pollerton Castle – she is still recovering in St Luke’s hospital.

A vigil was held at the Liberty Tree by locals in a show of support for the victim earlier this week

And now anyone who would like to drop off cards or letters wishing her well can do so at Hosey’s Post Office on the Staplestown Road.
