Tributes being paid to Elinor Mountain who has passed away

Tributes are being paid to a Kilkenny woman who has passed away.

Elinor Mountain is known in many circles, including for her work raising awareness about mental health.

She’s being described by locals as a networker; an enabler, a campaigner and an activist.

Meanwhile, a statement on Teac Tom’s Facebook page said Elinor was “a great lady for her trojan work”.

Hundreds of people have taken to social media to pay tribute to Elinor, who they say was an ‘amazing and generous woman’.
