Kilkenny fans heading to Pairc Ui Chaoimh today are being warned that heavy traffic is expected in Cork city.

The newly revamped stadium is hosting the second of the weekends quarter finals between Waterford and Wexford.

It’s also the venue for this afternoon’s All Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship Final between Kilkenny and Cork.

Turnstiles open at 12.30 and the message from the Gardai for getting in and out of the venue is to be patient and avoid driving to the stadium.
