Pet Mania in Kilkenny are hoping to break a world record this afternoon

Kilkenny business, Pet Mania, are hoping to set a new Guinness World Record today.

To mark their 10th birthday, the pet store, are hoping to break the record for the Biggest Cake for dogs in the world.

The event is running at their flagship store in Kilkenny Retail Park from 11am – 3pm this afternoon.

However, it’s not as easy as making the cake, it must be given away too.

Emily Miller is sales and marketing manager with Pet Mania, she says they need dogs to take part.
