Carlow Weather says Hurricane Gert won’t be anything special

Hurricane Gert will be anything but a hurricane by the time it reaches Ireland.

That’s according to a local weather man after reports that the tail end of the storm will be passing over the country this weekend.

A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for counties along the west coast.

Carlow Weather’s Alan O’Reilly says the most Carlow and Kilkenny will see will be some unsettled weather.
