Kilkenny woman in US cannot return to her home in Houston for months after Hurricane Harvey

A Kilkenny woman living in Texas says could be nearly a year before they can go back to their home.

Mags Ramey who is married and living in Houston for 9 years says they don’t expect to be able to return before next Summer.

It comes as experts say the devastation caused by the recent Hurricane Harvey could take up to two years to rectify.

Mags says there are 750 houses in her neighbourhood and over 600 of them flooded.
