No serious injuries following 2 separate crashes in Kilkenny yesterday

Gardai say nobody was seriously hurt when 5 cars were involved in 2 separate crashes in Kilkenny yesterday evening.

Both collisions happened in Foulkstown close to Kilkenny Rugby Club on the Waterford Road shortly before 6 o’clock.

Gardaí, the fire service and ambulances all attended – One man was taken to hospital as a precaution but nobody was badly hurt.

The road was closed for a number of hours however but has since re-opened.
