Kilkenny Castle will play host to a major Fire Show this evening as part of Yulefest Kilkenny.
FirePoise fire dancers will perform a Christmas-themed fire show from 5 o’clock.

It combines acrobatics, fire juggling and audience participation as well.
Meanwhile, a Festival of Christmas Trees is taking place in Kilkenny as well this weekend.

It’s taking place inside St Canice’s Cathedral where it launched yesterday and will run until this coming Wednesday.
Elizabeth Keyes from the Cathedral says it’s a nice family event.
