Artificial intelligence is the main focus of a major conference taking place in Kilkenny today.
It’s organised by Engineers Ireland and you can go along to the Lyrath Hotel to hear a series of speakers on how A-I is already being applied by Irish businesses.

Among the areas covered will be it’s place in sectors including healthcare, property, autonomous driving as well as image and sound recognition.
Machine Learning A-I Technology will also be a key subject today.
And speaking to KCLR News, Conference Director, Glen Collins says that’s particularly interesting and the first commercially useful thing to come from Artificial Intelligence research.
