Search is on for owner of found historic Kilkenny County Hurling medal

An historic Kilkenny Hurling County Final Medal has been found.

The 70-year-old sterling silver and copper-coloured medal is from Graigue-Ballycallan’s first ever senior county title back in 1949.

It was found this week in someone’s back garden in Kilkenny City.
