Carlow Homeowner Finds Two Men in House, One Wearing a Balaclava

Two men escaped the scene of a burglary in a Carlow home on Saturday night.

The owner of the residence in the Oak Park area heard a noise upstairs, went to check & was confronted by a male dressed in black & wearing a balaclava.

He indicated to another male & both fled the property on a motorbike.

Nothing was taken in the incident but gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
