Only one new local case of Covid-19 has been reported among 28 nationwide in the last 24 hours.

A further 7 people with Covid 19 have died bringing the death toll here to 1,670.

The total number of cases is 25,163 with 509 of them locally.

In Kilkenny the total has gone up one to 340, with Carlow unchanged on 169.
